Among our Success Immigration NIW clients,
we bring you recent news of an immigrant visa approval from the U.S. Embassy.
Because this immigrant visa came only after a months-long battle,
the joy is beyond words.
The client conducts research and development on weapons- and battery-related technologies.
He holds a doctoral degree,
has published numerous papers,
and has an extensive record of awards.
Before the U.S. Embassy interview,
the client went through a mock interview with us at Success Immigration.
Since the field of the client falls under STEM,
and his background and career were strong, we expected him to pass the U.S. Embassy interview smoothly.
However, the outcome of the U.S. Embassy interview on April 18, 2024
was a blue letter.
Fortunately, the Embassy did not issue an AP finding,
but asked for additional supporting documents proving U.S. immigrant intent.
After that, the client and our Success Immigration NIW team promptly
set to work on the immigrant intent supporting documents.
The client prepared the requested documents well,
and our NIW team moved quickly on the related paperwork.
As a result, the letter and supporting evidence were finished in just one week after the interview,
and the supporting documents were submitted to the U.S. Embassy on April 25, 2024.
However, on April 29, 2024,
the U.S. Embassy issued an additional blue letter,
requesting further tax-related documents.
It no longer required documents proving U.S. immigrant intent.
The client then prepared the requested documents quickly, but
due to personal circumstances the submission
took place around mid-July 2024.
And on July 25, 2024, the immigrant visa was finally approved!

The Timeline for this client is as follows.
Immigrant Visa Processing Timeline
- March 5, 2021: I-140 petition filed with USCIS
- July 12, 2022: I-140 petition approved by USCIS
- August 29, 2022: NVC issued the fee bill notice (the NVC stage started somewhat late for personal reasons)
- July 10, 2023: DS260 completed and required documents sent to NVC
- August 3, 2023: NVC issued the DQ notice
- March 13, 2024: NVC issued the P4 letter (interview date assigned: April 18, 2024)
- April 18, 2024: U.S. Embassy interview -> blue letter received (additional documents proving U.S. immigrant intent requested)
- April 25, 2024: documents proving U.S. immigrant intent promptly prepared and submitted to the U.S. Embassy
- April 29, 2024: second blue letter received from the U.S. Embassy (additional tax-related documents requested)
- mid-July 2024: tax-related documents submitted to the U.S. Embassy
- July 25, 2024: immigrant visas finally issued to the principal applicant and one accompanying family member (interviews remaining for the other accompanying family members)
However, at the time of the immigrant visa interview in April 2024,
only the principal applicant and one accompanying family member were interviewed for personal reasons,
so interviews remain for the rest of the accompanying family.
And right now, Success Immigration is helping the remaining family members
all the way through until their interviews are approved.
Even when the Field of Expertise of an applicant falls under STEM
and outstanding ability in that field has been proven,
and the USCIS I-140 petition stage has been cleared without trouble,
if approval does not come at the final stage, the U.S. Embassy interview,
no immigrant visa is issued.
That is why we cannot let our guard down until the very end.
Until our client receives the immigrant visa, Success Immigration
stays alert to the very end and devotes itself fully to the success of our client.
Working with Success Immigration
is the first step toward good fortune
